Beanstalk Ford GT too long???

I got the Ford GT from Beanstalk today, I think the model is way too long. Look, I compared it with my Jouef GT40. Both models are 1:18.

It might be correct... I heard the GT is an enlarged version of the GT40... the real GT40 being very tiny. Reason is, not very many people could fit into a real GT40...

But so long??? Can someone get the real lengths of the GT and the GT40, then see wich model is wrong.

i just happened upon this and i thought it might help. its a quote from an article about the new car compared to the old car:

so presumambly if they were both corect, then the beanstalk one should be about 1 inch longer than the jouef one. it looks about that much from the photo you posted
