What U.S. sold car looks most like a skyline modded or stock?

I love the look of the R34 skylines. What great cars. I obviously dont have the money to import and convert one, besides for 100,00 grand id buy something more exotic with stock power.

So what car looks most like a skyline from any year? Any body kits out there to make a skyline replica?

Thanks!

There are a ton of body kits out there for hondas and the like. I visited the states a week ago and noticed one with a R33 kit. It looked rather horrendous. That was close to Fresno. Of course I am very biased being able to see R33's more often then most. To tell the truth I would take any car and modify the body only slightly to bring out the natural characteristics of the car. Often then not when people do this it looks ten times better than expensive kits or silly mods. Thats just my humble opinion.

You don't want a skyline replica body kit because as assasin said they are horrendous and they are mainly R33 bodykits. I've seen a baby blue Honda Civic with a R33 body kit and it had the GTR badge on it . If you don't have a GTR don't go making your car look like one. You will be hated on by many people that respect the car.

I always thought that one of the Mustangs look almost exactly like the GTR. I am not too sure which model though.

The closest car I've seen look like a Skyline would have to be an older 180SX with an R32.5 (I think) kit for a Silvia converted to fit it. It was pretty close. I've also seen an Acura Legend converted to a Skyline at Import Revolution in Houston. The only way we could tell it was a Legend was from the steering wheel (said Acura) and the stand with the mods listed next to it.

I think that the new body style mustangs are about the same size and have the same features when looked at from the front. But other then that. I'd say that the 240s and the 180s look about as close to an R32 as you can get w/o it being an R32.

I'd have to disagree on that one, I really don't think they look a lot alike but they look similar

I have to agree with u 207010 but some people want a convertable and if I am not mistaking there is no convertable version of the skyline. SO I say get the 240sx conv. and put the Silva's engine in it and the skylines body kit. Now that would be a nice drop top.
