I am not certain, but i am almost possitive that everything will go in easily without having to modify anything unless your crx isnt an SI, then you will need the wiring harness from an SI unless you have one with the engine, and you will also need the ECU.

It is the computer that prety much runs everything. Look under the carpet on the front passenger side and take off the metal cover, and there is the ECU

if your going to use the si ecu its code is the pm6, theres one floatin around in the classified for 50 bucks i believe, but you will aslo need a way to engage vtec

your crx doesnt have VTEC so you need an aftermarket unit that will start the vtec process when you get to a certain rpm around 5000rpms, like an rpm activated switch, or a fields vtec controller, etc.

jezza louisa...this has been done a million times....try the search

go to www.4thGenerationCivic.com and look in the engine section. i have up all the links i found when doing my sohc vtec swap

2 ways to engauge vtec. with the pm6 88-91 si ecu + rpm activated switch (from summit) or p28 92-95 Si/EX + wiring conversion harness. the p28 route is more expensive yet, more efficent.

4g = 88-91
5g = 92-95
6g = 96-00

you can buy aftermarket...BUT, beware. you can mix and match d series parts. however i have learned to not mix just anything. so if you plan to use a p28 then get the z6 or y8 intake mani (depending which engine you get). same goes for the distributor (dizzy )

see i almost fuck up with the years...aight thanks...now where can i get the block...i been searchin like hell to find one...and cant find a good site or place to buy it from...

hold up...in the line like this...

5g block have the radiator fan switch at the thermostat housing compared to the 4g which is at the back of the block . You could either just extend the two wires blk and yel/green and then connect it using the 5g connector for the fan switch at the thermostat housing or on" 92 block only", there's a hole plugged up by a bolt on the same spot where the 4g switch is located. Just transfer the 4g switch to the 5g block but be careful not to break the two prong connectors and put high temp sealant before installing it...

that means i still need the 4g engine that came out of the CRX?...if i do...i'm fuck...cuz me and my bro found a CRX without an engine...and goin to buy that bitch...like 2 weeks from now...if it still there...tell me cuz i'm confuse...and let me get this clear 2...dont a block post to come with pistons, etc., cuz i think i found one close to me with piston, etc...i dunno, i'm alittle slow on swappin engine...sorry for ur time...
