high idleing 1988 300Z
I have a 1988 300 ZX that needs some work all around but it runs for now. My question is, the other day when I was putting oil in, it seems to burn oil at a somewhat larege quanitity and I am eventually going to send the engine in for a rebuild but for now!
i knowticed on the inside of the hood it lists the proper idle range for the 5 speed is around 750-800 rpm at idle. The car idles at double that!? Neither me nor my local nissan machanic can figure out why, any ideas?
