2010 IMPALA Front Sway Bar R/R 3.5 litre

I searched the forum for tips. None found. Has anyone done this job?
The ends of both sides (eyelets) are showing signs of splitting (typical failure point).
I recently did the same job 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8 litre w/o a hitch.

There seems to be less room on the Impala to maneuver the bar.
The exhaust system is the culprit, the down pipe in particular.
Any advice available?

112K plus miles.
