Limp home problem?
Hi to all,
I have a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan Se with 100956 miles on it. My problem is it is stuck in “Limp home gear” a mechanic told me that. I am driving it and when I accelerate to 40 mph the rpm goes up to 3000 ,if I go to 50 or 55 mph the rpm goes to 4000 and 4500.
Advance Auto pulled the code P 1775 Solenoid Switch, I cant get any one to replace it without charging to read the code on their scanner. Does any one think I should get a reliable “Shade tree mechanic to replace it or go to the dealer?
