1994 chev c10 4.3L V6

Hi: I have a generic question about the check engine light on my 1994 C10 pick up. I have the 4.3L V6 auto and the check engine light comes on after I run it for around five minuets then it goes out after around ten minuets. My question is, does it have a change oil reminder and if so how do I reset it? Thanks

"Change oil" reminders and "Check Engine/Service Engine Soon" lights are COMPLETELY different.

The light you're seeing is NOT a notice to dump the oil. Get the codes and post them; or have someone perform diagnostics with a scan tool.

Ten trillion to start with, increasing as needed from there, PLUS compensation for the sickened, and "wrongful death" settlements for the families of those who didn't survive. END trade with Communist China.
