Hi everyone, recently I want to buy an used car for my family. We have 5 persons,so a bigger SUV may be the best choice.
At first, our main applications are commuting and shopping. We need a car have a lot room for we have to buy some big furnitures like mattress. Another important factor is the fuel, we need a relative gas saver for my little wallet. Currently, we have some options as below: 2003 Subaru outback 2003 Toyota Highland 2002 toyota 4runner sr5 or SEQUOIA SR5 2004 nissan Pathfinder 2003 nissan xterra 2004 Honda CRV The price of These cars always between 5000-8000 and the milage between 120k-150k. So my question is : Which one you think will be the best? Thank you for your advice! |

Hey, i don't think you are going to fit a mattress in any of those. You did list some good choices. I would steer you toward the toyotas or the Honda CR-V. The president of Honda even drives a CR-V
also, both the pathfinder and xterra have had problems with the engine coolant leaking into the transmission causing a milky fluid and premature transmission/clutch failure. U can review this fact on edmunds.com. Hope this helps. Good luck |

Jaguar XJ40.
Old enough to qualify for classic car insurance but new enough to drive like a modern car. I've had two! You get a choice of 2.9 3.2 3.6 or 4.0 litre engines. The 2.9 feels very sluggish but that's just because it's a big car. It's actually perfectly adequet. |

Go with the Honda. The motor has a great power to weight ratio to save gas. Im really not into foreign cars, but Honda has some of the best MPG engines available. Very reliable. DO NOT go for the Nissans. Nothing but problems. Hope this is helpful in making you decision. Good luck to you!
