Question: difference between Tamiya 1/12 McLaren MP4/6 old and re-released kits

Hi:

I would appreciate if anyone can tell me the difference between the old and new kits of Tamiya McLaren MP4/6. The older is kit cod. #12028 while the new one is #89721.

The latter is more expensive on internet sites. As much as double. But, is it worthed to buy the newer kit?

Thank You in advance.

Apart from box art, the 2 kits are identical, except the newer one is missing the goodyear logo decals. The raised lettering of the GY logo on tires is still intact though
