Who has the most mileage?

I have a 01 Prizm with 95K on it and runs good. My daughter has an '02 Prism with 86K. I usually maintain vehicles very well. How many miles can I expect out of these engines / trannies??

Who has the record out there????

These cars have Toyota engines and trannies. If you treat them well you can get over 200,000 on them, maybe more. Maintenance is the key.

I have 1988 S-10 blazer 4x4 with 422,000
replaced tranny at 275,000 .
replace water pump at 212,000.
replaced alternator at 224,00.
Motor has never been opened.
I bought it new and retired it in 2007 .
I use it on the farm now .

Engine runs fine, although I'm having electrical problems (see my post).

It's a great car and still quite peppy--I bought it used but it's been running just fine. Plan on giving it good maintenance and hopefully squeezing as much out of the engine as I can.

I won't win for the most miles .. but my 1999 Prizm has 115 thousand and runs like a Rolex watch. It has the three speed auto.trans. I really wish I had a four speed auto or a stick shift but when I bought it I hadn't done my homework and assumed it was like a Corolla with overdrive. No problem though .. it's still a sweet car. (I'm not perfect either) I think if you keep 'em clean and change fluids on YOUR schedule not the books or manufacturers, keep 'em outa the ditch .. they should last decades! We try anyway .... 1999 Prizm 113K miles. Getting the A/C recharged and manifold / downpipe exhaust gasket replaced today.

Not to brag but my 95 geo prizm has 218k miles and it is still going. yes maintenance is the key.

I have 2000 Prism I have 225K on it. leaking a little oil. I drive this car 5-7 hundred miles a week

I bought mine with ~112k miles this year and now I'm close to 140k. I shopped specifically for a prism for over a month - partially because I expect to get 200k out of it. As others have said, maintenance and clean fluids are key to a long life. ('01 Chevy Prism)

I've got a '99 prism and have little over 115k, not leaking or burning oil, runs great. 4spd AT, keep oil changed around 3-5k miles, just put on new tires.
