EGR chimney tube reduction when replacing upper intake gasket, 97 Olds 88 with 3.8 Liter
97 Olds 88 with 3.8 Liter.
Looks like I am losing coolant again and will have to redo the Upper intake manifold gasket and Lower intake gasket while I am at it. I have done a lot of looking and found great info, but there is mention of a reduced size EGR chimney tube when doing this repair. I see the reduced size bushings that go into the intake plenum, but cannot for the life of me find a reduced size EGR tube to fit into this reduced bushing. Where can I find this?? |

I figured it out. Kinda silly, actually. It comes in the Dorman kit and you just pull out the old one and drive in the new one.
