Unhappy Newbie in need of help

The other day I went to the store, shut the car off which was running perfectly. I came out, tried to start the car and it was a no go. It would start but ran badly for about 2 to 3 seconds then stalled. It acted as if it were running on 2 cylinders. Come to find out after we got it in the garage, cylinders 1 and 4 are firing, 2 and 3 are not. Changed the coil and still the same thing. It is a 1993 Eclipse GS with a JDM engine 4g63. I have already checked plugs and plug wires. All are good. I can not find anything disconnected anywhere. Any idea's?

Thanks
Rus

Plugs are good, wires are good...one the side of the coil for plugs 2 and 3 is dead...
What i did was this, took all plugs out left them plugged in and cranked it, only 1 and 4 were sparking..to check plugs and wires i plugged 2 and 3 into the 1-4 side and they sparked.
Camsensor? possibly?

Re: Newbie in need of help

your ignition coil could be bad... other than that your ECU but the CAS wouldnt only make 2 cylinders fire and no the others!

I changed the coil, same thing. Took the camsensor apart and noticed a very very tiny crack. Would that cause this malfunction?
