1993 Cavalier abs light stays on..
Please help... My son recently purchased his first car which is a 1993 Chevy Cavalier.. The abd light stays on all the time.. We took it to the garage to have it fixed along with a few other minor things... However the mechanic said the relay switch is bad and we cant get a new one, only a used one so he suggested we simply remove the bulb... Help I have no idea how to do this and my son will need it "turned off" before Saturday as this is the day he takes his test for his liscence and all dash lights have to be off... HELP!!!!

Re: 1993 Cavalier abs light stays on..
Did they give to the code(s) that were stored? Pulling the bulb is not a fix and is not recomended, regardless of what your "mechanic" said. It would require removing the cluster and some disassembly of the cluster. Some of those bulbs are not serviceable. It's best to repair the problem.
