1985 DeLorean DMC-12 "Back to the Future II" BTTF2 version
Old kit purchased at Universal Studios, somewhere around 1997. Started the kit, left it on the shelf, came back around 2005 to complete it. I just hope I knew about airbrushes and stuff (body is brushed LOL). Anyway, I had a good time with this one. I remember using a thin e-guitar string to drop paint on details like wires. I also remember that I used 23 different paints, unthinkable for me at that time.
Kit: Aoshima 28636 (?) Body paint: Humbrol/Revell enamel (brush painted, old times...) Decals: Aoshima kit Project date: started on previous millenium! finished sometime before 2005 (long before knowing AF Car Modeling forum) Kit review: good kit from Aoshima. I was very unexperienced so I made a lot of mistakes. Anyway, I think it would build easily right OOB. Built this kit right OOB, long before knowing about AFCM forum, or about polishing techniques, no airbrushing, etc. I might be taking and uploading new photos of this kit as soon as I get time to do it. Thx for watching and comments.

Don't knock yourself down. It looks like a very tidy build considering what you had to work with. I've been meaning to get my hands on one of these kits, it's my favourite movie franchise. Some close up photos outside in the sunshine would be appreciated

Re: 1985 DeLorean DMC-12 "Back to the Future II" BTTF2 version
Thx for the feedback!
I still have to add some underglow for the flying-mode, and a hover-board. No Einstein on this model tho. I might be taking some pics on the sun like I usually do. I´m just trying to gather time, no wind, hotter day (it´s like 0 degrees outside these days and pics are taken on a very high building). I´m pretty sure photo session will also include some recently finished Nismo´s

looks good, nice handbrushing! I think if you added some black wash into the panel lines it would really bring it to life
