700r4 help

Does anyone know what the ele.plug with two sets of wires on the passanger side of the tranny is for. The tranny i took out doesn t have it . Can i use the tranny with the wires and not use the wires, and were would they go anyway, my car is a 82 camaro with a tranny from a 91 camaro .THE TRANNY I JUST BOUGHT IS #8663549. WHICH IS A 82-89 I HAVE A 82 THE WIRES I M TALKING ABOUT ARE ON THE DRIVER SIDE. ONE PLUG, TWO SETS OF WIRES, THE FIRST IS TWO WIRES ABOUT 8IN LONG WITH A PLUG ON IT. THE OTHER IS A SET OF 5 WIRES ABOUT 2FT LONG AND CUT AT THE END...any help... thank you carl
