Re: Is Mercedes a lot to maintain first car?

I own a Mercedes Benz as well. To reduce your cost of ownership - stay away from the dealer as much as you can. Learn to maintain it yourself, or, find a good independent garage that will work on it at a reduced cost. These cars are built like a tank, and, will give you good service if properly maintained. There are a number of good Mercedes forums where you can get advice on how to do your own work on the car as well.

It depends on what type of repair needs to be done.

The maintenance is not much as long as you know what to do when you encounter some problem in your car but you can find you question in some forum and other you can find in the their site.

I agree. Don't use the dealer for repairs. Find a local independent shop that is experienced working on Mercedes. I don't think you'll run into many problems with it though. That's a great model.

Re: Is Mercedes a lot to maintain first car?

yea i dislike the new c classes i seen on a video they don't standardly come with v6 anymore they come with v4 and i don't like how in 08 or something they redesigned it.

the best Mercedes are the ones in mid 2000's the ones in early 2000s weren't reliable.

and even if i wanted to get new mercedes i couldn't becuase insurance would be like 600 since its a new car and im 18.
