ok now we have a problem its throwing code#po302??

it says that the #2 plug is misfiring the cause could be ingnition system fault? orspark plug which is ne ? or coil? vacuum leak?injector fault?high or low oil pressure? if your driving at a speed and holding it there you can feel the miss ? if you speed up or take off fast it runs perfect?

checked the spark plug its fine! i tuned this motor up over a week ago with new plugs , wires and dist,button! it seemed fine and then driving down the road today i noticed it start to miss??

i have now checked that wire ! i removed the plug and turned it over im getting spark! to #2 cylinder?

remove the plug and plug wire. inspect the wire for damage on the surface. then using an ohmmeter measure the resistance. should be around 5,oooohms .

replace the spark plug . if it is platinum or irridium do not mess with the gap as you will damage the plug.

you could have a bad injector but do the ignition first.

new plugs / wires do not mean good !

when you say do the ignition first? what do i check?

well since the spark plug is good i also checked the fuel pump and its goin up to 75# in the key on position and the bleading down to 15# so i have asked several people and they tell me to put the new spider injection in that i have a bad injector?

at the fuel pump filtercycle the pump see what the pressure is and if it holds pressure.

it does hold pressure then the injector may be bad. swap injector see if the code changes.

I said it before new does not mean good . change/swap plug. what is the plug wire resistance ?

checked all the connection and the pins to make sure all are good!

heres the downfall!! i just replaced the spider injection and the same thing is goin on?? when i checked the wires with a ohms meter im getting 2.14 and something close to that on the other wires? im ready to call the tow truck!!! cant wait to hear what you think j-cat??
