Sweet. Nice touch with the rolled down windows. I like this car more and more everytime I look at it, can't wait to start building mine.

Re: Fujimi - Ferrari 458 Italia

That color looks great. I like the depth there and the metallic flake seems to be in scale. Nice, and often overlooked.

Can you please provide feedback on the two different PE sets you used? Which was better/worse and why?
Why did you get one of each? Does one have more/better/different parts than the other?

Thoughts on the T2M exhausts? I just ordered those for my Revell AG kit.

Great details and great work!
I would love to hear your technical thoughts.
Thank you!
Andy

Very nice job Max, this beauty is even better once seen in person.

You know, I do not like the carbon fuel cap, but it's a matter of personal taste

Bravo...!

Re: Fujimi - Ferrari 458 Italia

Many thanx to you all

@andybmw7272:
None of the two set is perfect. At the beginning I bought the Hobby Design set, then I immediately recognized many detail wrongly reproduced… so I bought the KA-Models set. Despite the HD set is more detailed, the metal they used is very thin, too thin and can be easily damaged/bent during handling it.

Pro HD:
detailed brake discs
ventilation grilles look very good

windshield wiper (not included in the KA set)

Pro KA:

photoetched self-adhesive mirror faces
photoetched self-adhesive Ferrari script
the good looking key
some minor detail not included in the HD set

The T2M exausts are simply great, btw you can easily scratchbuilt them from aluminiun tube
.

Re: Fujimi - Ferrari 458 Italia

Brilliant works! You've corrected all the major defects of Fujimi kit, the front tyres, the wheelbase... and the tricky rear grilles were treated so neatly! Now that's a proper look of the 458. Well done Max!
