1/12 Tamiya Honda RC 166 + Detailsets

Finished the RC 166 some time ago...brilliant kit and easy and quick to build. I added all the Tamiya detailsets. The chain was easy to assemble but it either sits to tight or to loose..couldn't fix that 100% and the spoke wheels need a lot (!!!) of patience.

I removed all bolts and screws and replced them with metal or PE, did dome mods on the frame and added missing fixing points for the comling, detailed the brakes and added some bits here and there.

I messed with the decals so had to paint the green and round "roundels".

hope you like it

you should do so...a amazingly engineered kit, a pleasure to build...compared to the Safari 1/12 Datsun ;-)

daniel - did you stop posting the WIP pictures for this build? I was following your WIP thread but did not see the work to completion. Still it looks very good. Nice paint and I know the Tamiya detail items require a lot of patience. - John
