Jaguar work in progress

Here's my latest project, Tamiya's 1/24 scale Jaguar Mk. II.

It's painted with Tamiya's "Maroon" (TS11) spray paint.

I can't recommend this kit highly enough. Everything's gone together perfectly so far!

Matt

Here's a shot of the interior and engine compartment.

I'll post some more shots of the model as soon as it's finished.

Hope you guys like it!

You do know this will be moved to the WIP section of the forum, right?

I love the Jaguar. That straight-six is looking amazing. The body looks great, but I'd expect that from the gentleman in charge of SAE.

Or has the editor position changed again? I'll be honest, I dropped my subscription pretty soon after the die-cast heavy format showed up and Loren Bussewicz (spelling?) started doing his reviews.

Wow, thanks for remembering!

It's sort of a long story, but i haven't been at SAE for a few years now. I left there to work at Subaru Drive , where I was the Editor for a couple of years. A couple of months ago, though, I came back to Kalmbach to my current position, Senior Editor at FineScale Modeler . In fact, the Mk. II's for an FSM car-modeling feature, although I'm not sure what issue it'll appear in. I'll let you guys know when it's about to appear in the magazine.

And SAE's just down the hall from my office at FSM, and I may be doing some modeling/reviewing for them, too. It's nice to be modeling full-time again!

Matt
