1998 voyager park/brake lights stay on......

My buddy has a problem with his 1998 Voyager, most of the time after he shuts it off, the parking lights stay on until he pulls the relay. Whats up?

Re: 1998 voyager park/brake lights stay on......

Looks like the Body Control Module (BCM) is maintaining the ground to the park lamp relay. Try pulling the IOD fuse in the PDC (underhood fuse box) for 2-3 minutes. If that doesn't do it disconnect thee negative battery cable. This will reset the BCM and the data bus it controls.

Still on? Swap the park lamp relay with another like relay.
