Silly bench seat question-has anyone put 2 three seater benches in their van?
I have a 1994 Villager and we have a combined total of 6 kids ( a his, mine and ours situation). Most of the time, the Van only having 7 seats is no problem as we only have all 6 one day a weekend... But sometimes we like to go places with everyone instead of just staying home together.
Has anyone tried putting 2 of the three seat benches in their Van? Is it safe? I am assuming it will work as you can push the back 3 seater bench forward and still have working seatbelts... The local pick and pull junkyard currently has 3 villagers and they all have the benches and I thought it would be a quick, cheap fix to get a "bigger" van. thank you! Selena |

With the back bench bolt into the middle of the van?
It's also possible that there was an 8 seat option from the factory, that would give you a proper middle bench seat with seat belts etc.
