need help with fuel gage please!!

I am looking for any information about a problem i have with my 09 chevy silverado. i recently got into a front end collision where the drivers side took the majority of the impact. From this point on my fuel gage seems to not be reading correctly. No matter how much fuel i put in it stays around 1/8th of a tank. There are no leaks just a problem with the gauge. no error codes are present and i can not see anything else obviously wrong. I am also looking for any info on a free pdf download of a haynes repair manual for this truck as well hoping it will have some answers. any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Its a pain loging all my miles driven after a fill up. thanks

It is possible this is the dash indicating console. with a front end damage on the driverside this is where the PCM/wiring/fuse box is..all this would need checking out ..

you would need a shop OEM manual ...the haynes manual WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE DETAILED SCHEMATICS REQUIRED !

good luck.
