Keyless entry prob?????

I have a '96 LSS and recently had some electrical problems. It all started a few months ago when I replaced a lock actuator. After that the interior light don't come on sometimes when the doors are open and I also have to manually turn off the radio when it doesn;t turn off by itself after door is opened. That I have been living with for a few months.
Well a few weeks ago the keyless part of my car has not been working. Been to O'riellys to check the signal and it's good on the key fob. Wierd thing is the panic button on the fob works but the lock/unlock/trunk buttons don't?????

any ideas?

Could be out of "synch"....stand by the vehicle and press and hold BOTH the lock and unlock buttons for 20 seconds or until the horn chirps....

Well, if it chirped, it's sending a signal and is in synch.....

I assume that the door locks work with the door switches, and the trunk operates with the interior trunk switch.....The Mall module controls the door locks and the trunk actuator.....it has to receive a signal From the RFA module to operate the locks when the fob is pressed.......

Well I am wondering if it is the actuators fault. I bought one off ebay and I kinda had to jam the wire harness into the interface on the actuator. After I installed the actuator that is when the electrical problems began to occur.
Now (about 6mnths) later the same acuator has broke and wont lock when lock button is pressed in car and makes a machine gun noise.
