Unhappy shorted my front center panel(clock, lighter, and stereo)

i was trying to test my amp by using the positive and negative 12v from my lighter socket and i put the cables backwards on my amp (negative to positive and positive to negative)i checked the fuses but nothing is fried and the radio works fine too. i need to know what else could be wrong.

uhh ... so what are you trying to troubleshoot?

you probably fried your amp is my guess ... back when I had my old 73 mgb we accidently hooked up the battery wrong like that and blew up the alternator.

for stereo.. there is a 10 amp fuse under the hood on the passenger side . take off the cover and look. replace that if its bad.. or the one inside under the steering column..
