Unhappy water in passenger cabin

I have a 2004 sable wagon. a great car except it leaks a ton of water into the passenger side cabin on the floor. only the floor gets wet. there is no point of entry. i.e. water line noticable from under dash etc. I did crawl under the dash and with a mirror was able to see drops of water coming off what looks like to me the heater fan motor casing. I actually have to pull up the rug and use a sham wow to suck up all the water. there are two drain plugs in the floor. I did pull them out to drain some water out. thought maybe water was coming in through these plugs to, but that is not happening. I did have my mechanic replace the cabin air filteration filter on it a while back. only thing is I bought this car used and am not sure if problem was there before. I think it was though because I remember saying how dirty the passenger side carpet looked. does anyone else have this problem, can anyone help me! otherwise this a great car.

Re: water in passenger cabin

You might want to go to the dealership and reference Ford/Mercury
TSB 04-15-3 dealing with water in the blower case.
