I get a lot of machine when calling people from my dad's office telling them their glasses have arrived. I got one that went something like this:
*raspy old woman* Hold on... *things shuffle around* *music starts to play, quiet at first, but then loud and distorted as she moved the stereo closer to the mic* Oh Honey, I want your body, I love you so much, I want to... *music stops* *raspy old woman speaks* Leave a message after the bloopy *about a 10 second wait listening to more things shuffling around and old woman muttering under her breath trying to figure out how to get the message to end* BEEP!  "This is Dr......."

My answering machine gets rid of most ppl. it says "Eh, youve reached Rich, im too lazy to answer the phone, so hang up, cause im not gonna call u back neways."

Im an ass. home or not home i rarely answer the phone, Its about a 1% chance that its someone I actually want to talk to anyways, and if it is a friend or someone important, then they can call my cell, or they know they can find me on MSN about 90% of the time

I don't know why I even have my own phone here (I'm boarding in the basement of a single lady's house, there are 2 other students boarding as well, both French). I keep it disconnected all the time. Half the calls are French and I don't speak a lick of it, others are just for people that I really don't know or care if they're here or not....
