F1,s displayed at Motorshows

As promised,

Went looking through some old photo,s the other night, to locate some negatives. So they could be reproduced in digital format and came across these little gems.

I remember taking these pics on the BMW stand at the 94 NEC motorshow, but had totally forgot about them. Met up with John Morrison, McLaren sales director at the time, who kindly presented me with a copy of the Autocar supplement book, very nice man .

This car, which I thought was #011 a while back. Is possibly #015, Erik will confirm, as I sent him a DVD which includes this "F1" from the Top Gear show coverage.
..............................................

A while later in the search, I came across these two pics of GTR 08R .On display at the 95 Earls Court motorfair, not sure which stand they were on. But I do believe I took them on "Motorsport day", which means, it was probably not on display for the whole show period.

Also, I took the opportunity to reproduce my Silverstone 97 photo,s, which I shall rehost again on the appropriate thread, as they were scans last time round.

Please enjoy .

If anyone else, has any rare "F1" motorshow pics, please post. Thankyou.

Re: F1,s displayed at Motorshows

Thanks for the comments guys , it makes the posting of such content worthwhile, especially when there is some positive feedback.

Come on, all you other F1 fans out there, surely some of you have been to motorshows and taken pics, don,t be afraid to post, thats what a forum is all about .

I,ll give a unique "F1" related prize to the person who posts the most interesting motorshow photo taken by themselves. As Greg will agree, my prize,s are very good!!

Re: F1,s displayed at Motorshows

I will have some to contribute this evening, but they are not 'my' photos.

It would be nice to get this thread going to the point where it belongs in the Sticky at the top of the forum, so I'll add my request for people to contribute their own lost treasures too.

Re: F1,s displayed at Motorshows

Here's chassis #009 on display at two Motorshows. I thought I had kept the details on which years and locations these were taken, but can't seem to find them now. I found one comment that it was displayed at Melbourne in 1994, so perhaps that is from where the first pair was taken?

I also seem to recall that the second set of images were in 1997. The other thing I can't seem to locate is the year this car was crashed.

Can anyone confirm either date? Thanks!
