Exclamation 2004 Oldsmobile Alero slow crank

Shut off my car at the gas station. Wouldn't start back. Thought it was the fuel pump. Cranked over no start and didn't hear the pump kick on. Got it towed home. Replaced the pump the battery was dead when I tried to start it. Jumped it and the headlights seem bright but cranks slow and sluggish and sounds sluggish and airy. White smoke came from inside dash and vents. Starter and alternator are less then a year old. Please help.

Welcome to AF, what engine? Also check oil level and condition, any coolant loss?

2.2 oil is fine. The coolant reservoir is full.

Without voltmeter testing battery/alternator you're just guessing.
