Nissan Skyline GT-R 2000 SEIBON
Hello,
the first Model for 2011 is finished. I started out with a pre-painted kit from Aoshima and added some leftovers from the parts box: - Wheels (BBS) and brakes from a Porsche GT1 - Rear wing from a Skyline KPGC10, clad with ScaleProduction carbon decals - Seibon Decals from the R35 transkit (also ScaleProduction) - Mirrors from a KPGC10 - Racing fuel caps (PE) - Exhaust scratched from Evergreen tube - Tow-hooks made from wire - Front spoiler from the parts box with carbon decals The Aoshima paint certainly is not bad. Unfortunately you still see some moldlines up close. My aim was to create a modern-day version of the oldschool Skyline. Some new elements like the wheels mixed with an old-school paint scheme (golden wheels). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The wing is removable (double-sided tape). Hope you like it. |

Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R 2000 SEIBON
WOW!!
Excellent building! I really like this oldys skylines...and im paying a lot of attention to skylines threads beacase i want to have some ideas for the moment i start building my tamiya kit...the cool part about yours is the color, becuase its more common to see them in grey or silver, but i think that white is an excellent choice, and from what i read this skylines came only in two color from factory (white and silver)...and the front grill in black is great also, gives like a "racing" touch |

Thanks for posting this one up again, Sebastian. I love old cars with new car themes. That is something that I would do to a real car. Excellent job!
