Dale Earnhardt Lumina 1991 Daytona crash.

Hi everybody !

Thought Iīd share my latest project for you guys !

BEFORE you scroll down to look at the pictures.. look at this video !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g5Y61TrjZE

Earnhardt spun out with 3 laps to go of the 1991 Daytona 500 collecting both Davey Allison and Kyle Petty. Earnhardts car did a 180 degree turn and got hit by Kyle Petty.. and here is how I replicated Earnhardts crashed Lumina.

This is not 100% done yet since I have to make a base for the car. But for so long.. Here is the pictures of the car !

I donīt usually build NASCARs so I donīt know if everything looks like the real thing.. but I tried and I am happy with it !

Best regards,

Rickard

Looks very good to me, well done.
I watched the vid first and it looks like you did a great job of capturing the crash damage.
He was a very lucky man, that crash could have been much worse.
Cheers, Steve.
