Guess its time to start another kit.....VANTASTIC
Now that the Supra is finished its time for another project. Was going to carry on with the EVO but this kit (Vantastic) has been burning away like a fire at me wanting to be built
 So the EVO is on hold and this one is underway today. Being a Hotrod most parts will be colour-coded. Engine and running gear will get the same colour as the car. Car with have a two tone look to it when painted. Today the engine was clean and assembled reading for painting. Whole engine was glued with the new glue i just brought (Milfix) and the whole engine will be painted body colour for a clean simple look. Quite looking forward to building something different for a change.

nice job on the supra, love the color & shine! how do you build them so fast? I'm like 5% done with my Enzo LOL!

I think I saw a pic of your work area before (long ago) but I thought it was a bench type painting area. Post often, I need the inspiration, this Opel is kicking my *$$! Ohhy yeah, the model kit with the valves and valve springs and stuff. Man, this thing had amazing things done to it by testors. I't gonna come out nice as usual, just kick back and watch the build, guys. :smoker2:

rhmatt.....YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE COLOUR !!
I try and keep just the paints and tools i need in one box so that i dont have to hunt through all the others to find what i'm looking for. njh...i have 5 days off work and i'm running on NOS

are you being suggestive with that NOS comment? I can't wait to see what you'll come up with for this model. I have a hotrod waiting in the pile of boxes to do. it'll be an unusual time in the forums...

Umm..... Did anyone else notice that suicides model is a completely different kit?
Will be watching with interest P Man as I am building the Smoothster from Testors. Same chassis. Whats your engine? Mines a LT1 Chevy. Seems a waste though all that internal detail in the engine doesn't it.

From what I have seen of your kit it is identical to mine up to the body. By that I mean the chassis and gaurds. I would suspect that it is just one of those kits where they use the same parts tree for more than one kit.

Well this I can't wait to see if it's up to the usual P/Man standards it's going to be (as P/Man said) VANTASTIC!!
Warren the spare hood is in the kit for people like Jay, so he has one to lose/snap!!  YES I'M BACK!!!!
