Vr6 Buying Questions

I'm in the market to get a Mk3 VR6 Gti. Im looking to spend no more than $9,000 on it either. I've heard of people getting them for way cheaper with good miles.

I'm looking to get one with under 60,000k on it and no more than 70,000k. Is there anything I should look for when looking at one? Any common problems with them? I;ve been in the VW scene for a few years now and have heard nothing but good about them, except from some honda lover that tried to tell me that they are know my blow up, but i just laughed in his face.

So any info would be greatly appreciated.

Can't wait to hear that burble when i step on the gas, instead of hearing the rice that I drive.
