06 Liberty Sport
I have a 2006 Liberty Sport 4x4 that I recently had moved across the country on a car carrier. Since then, it seems like the jeep has less power when accelerating, almost like something is sticking. The spedometer is off, like the car is trying to go 70 it reads 75 on the spedometer. We tested it with gps and with two cars driving next to eachother. The shocks are kinda rusted from living in the Northeast for several years, is there any chance the shocks could play a part in this since they were strapped down on a truck for a week? I'm wondering if the pressure from it being strapped down might have damaged the shocks..

Re: 06 Liberty Sport
shocks are not your problem. i know when i test my gps against my speedo it is always off a little.
what else makes you think you don't have full power.

Re: 06 Liberty Sport
Where did you move from and to? If you're at a higher altitude you will have much less power.
