Odd Power window problem

Recently, 3 of my 4 power windows simultaneously stopped working. None of the 3 windows (left front and both rears) will respond to either the master switch nor their individual switches. I checked the fuse, which is fine obviously since one window (the right front) still works with the master and its own switch. I also suspected the master switch, but after swapping out the old with a new one, no difference.

There is no motor activation at all...no motor can be heard at any of these windows so it isn't just off the regulator track. I also don't believe 3 motors or regulators could have failed at the exact same time. However, while messing with it last night with the engine idling and the interior lights on, I noticed when I press any of the switches to the bad windows, there is an obvious current draw, as the interior lights dim and the idle drops about 50-100 rpm. Any ideas? Bad ground? I know all windows are wired through the master switch, but could one bad window motor cause the other 2 to stop working as if they were in series or something? I am stumped...any help would be very much appreciated!

Re: Odd Power window problem

Try checking the wirse where the go from the door to the body of the vehicle. Move that harness around and try the windows while your doiung this. Not to uncommong to see these wires break.
