Changing front brake pads.......

Is it difficult to change fron brake pads on a 2000 Galant 4cyl?

I have done this on other cars years ago are they roughly all the same?

Thanks........

Good morning Rhax,

Had a go at the front brake pads today they are a little different to the ones that I have done before. However you need the full caliper off. I couldn't budge the bottom bolt & run the ring spanner a bit maybe not too much. Can you tell me if the size for that nut is a "17 metric" or is it imperial size. One other point how do you remove the retaining clips for the pads?
