Modelers Interior Red

I saw this listed on HLJ and was wondering if this would be good for creating the red leather in the Ferrari enzo and b'cause i dont have an airbrush to create my own this was the best option. Has anyone tried it?

Modeler's interior color leaves texture. It's hard to describe, but it's like somewhere between 180 and 320 grit sand paper, depending on how you spray it. I use black, and it looks alright for a textured dashboard and padded bucket seat, but it doesn't look like fabric or leather.

Leather effect is best achieved with flat black. When it is dry, rub the side of your nose with your finger and use the oil on the seats. Lasts nearly forever and looks VERY real.

Could anyone suggest another option that would create leather effect from spray paint?

BTW using oil from ur face and rubbing it onto ur kit aint right. Tamiya wax does the same just fine.

I used Model Master flat red on my Porsche 356 interior.





Not sure if that's the kind of look you're going for or not.
