This is one retarded accident- the Pickup trucks point of impact was the right front corner, while the H2's was in the same place- HOWEVER the cars were driving on the Right side of the road. Uless the cars collided at that intersection which meant the H2 was pushed a Loooooooooooooooooooooong way

before you go saying that the H2 is weak, you do have to take into account that that's a Dodge Ram 3500 in the back.. that's a huuuuuge truck that it hit. Also, the cars have obviously been moved, so it could have been any number of things that happened.. there may even be a third car involved that they're not showing.. Yes, the H2 is absolutely massive, but they're awesome as all hell on the inside. You feel like you're in a pimpin ride, and you feel like you're the king/queen of the road. Seriously.. people move out of the way.

From the looks of it, the passenger cabin is intact on both cars. Thats the important part. I want the vehicle to sustain whatever damage necessary to keep the interior in one piece.

I'd rather walk away with crushed engine bay and buy a new truck then get carted off to a hospital near death thinking "look - the fender only got a scratch"

Judging by the skid marks on the sidewalk the H2 hasn't been moved at all, it is still where it stopped.

I agree with you in the Dodge, not something I would fight with so it's not like the Hummer did toooo terribly.

Anyone got any guesses on which way the Dodge was coming from before impact?

I dont care for the H2's the are slow, ride like crap, get terrible fuel mileage, and aren’t near as tough or stable as the H1's and I personally think they look like crap but thats just my opinion

Have you ridin in an H2 before to make your statements not just opinions? The gas mileage yea its not the greatest, but me personally I dont care what gas mileage I get, if i buy a car Im gonna base it on what i like and not what the fuel economy is.

I heard it was nice inside, I have never ridden in one. but everyone, even the people who like it says it rids like a uhaul truck, which I can understand because its mint to be a off-road truck(well the original concept), not a soccer moms suv. but to me, if your going to have a on road suv get a Lexus if you want somethign that will take the off road beating, get a hummer

I rode in one and drove it for a while (me and Gavin go and test drive really expensive cars every once in a while), and let me tell you, they are NICE... when you're driving, everything's right where you would think it would be. Yeah there's a lot of buttons, but you feel like you've had the car for 5 years, cause you just kinda "know" where everything is. It's extremely comfy, and is rough enough to remind you that you're in an SUV, but comfy enough to remind you that you're in a $67,000 (as driven... loaded baby!) SUV.

and I also agree with yogs. if it crunched that much, it means the body of the car took the force of the impact... that's what they make crumple zones for. The driver's door of the hummer is open, which means that the driver was able to just get out.. no jaws of life or anything.. same with the dodge.
