Oh - and I shift at 8200 - just before the rev limiter kicks in. Give it a go sometime

LOL - my 1.2 1st gen pumped 68 kilowatts at the front wheels on a dyno.:finger:

Bored to 73mm goldwing pistons and stroked with EN1crank and rods and with twin dell orto carbs, mugen cam and jackson racing headers mind you and a hefty 10.5:1 comp ratio

Not paying out on the 1.3 at all, just at the thinking that it's shit hot to beat one with a car with a larger capacity motor

Besides that - you're a pom, your cars have to be small capacity to match your island roads and so you don't hurt yourselves at speeds over 20mph :finger:

LOL - 68kw = 91hp at the wheels in a 640 kilo car = better power to weight ratio than a hell of a lot of cars on the road nowadays - and besides, it was a labour of love and a hell of a lot of fun to build, parts were cheap

LOL at the roads - typical whinging pom, give 'em a bit of dust and they cant handle it and have to go home to their cobblestones

OK fair enough about the car,

but that dust comment is b/s, we have dirt roads here, just that our country's roads arent 90% dust like yours :finger:

and we only have cobblestones in the old towns and thats it which to be fair still beats DIRT!!!

That would be why they filmed the Matrix in London, not Sydney... oh hang on... :finger: :finger: :finger:

Hell, they couldn't even film LoTR in England as it didn't look modern enough for Middle Earth and they had to go to New Zealand of all places
