IAT higher than ambient air temp

I noticed with my scantool that the IAT is about 20 C above the ambient air temperature. I originally thought that the IAC should only be 5 C above the ambient air, but this is the case for both my 97 and 99. Ambient air was about 30C, intake was about 50-60C.

No codes have been set, but I know that a sensor can be quite marginal without setting a code.

Engine compt. heat can vary in any car, that is the difference as it heats the ducts.
