Door speaker replacement
What brands have guys on here used to replace the factory speakers in their ride with?I've got a set of Infinity's for the rear but nothing for the doors yet and would like to know what people have found to sound good for the money.I know that Infinity is considered one of the best but surely other brands must rank up there too for sound and mabey not as pricey.

Re: Door speaker replacement
Polk was my choice - love the sound even with the factory HU.

Re: Door speaker replacement
I went Infinity all the way around. 5 1/4's in the front door, 4x6's in the back door. 12inch Infinity sub in custom box under back seat. Cheapo Wallie world amp for the sub (will be replaced soon with an Infinity amp) and a Kenwood head unit.
I recommend sticking with the Infinity since you already have two in. Or get 4 new speakers with whoever you decide to go with. Also remember that a good head unit drastically improves the sound your speakers push. |
