Misfire
my check engine light came on for a cyl. 3 misfire last week. I replaced the ignition wires. My check engine light is still on and the engines still missing. So I changed my bosch +2 plugs, to the autolite platinum, even though the bosch were less than a year old, and today the engines still missing with no improvement.. Finally I changed the coil and still no improvement.. what kind of plugs do you guys use?? do you think thats my problem? any other ideas?

Re: Misfire
Check for vacuum hose leaks. Don't know the age of your car, but with age these VW hoses break and are brittle. Take off the cover and check closely.
