Bought new radiator. Plastic cracked. Is this okay?

So I bought a new radiator for my Jeep 2000 Cherokee 4.0L. It developed a crack and my mechanic told me that it's better to replace it. This radiator has close to 200,000 miles on it anyway so I decided to buy a new radiator from autopartexpress since it was WAY cheaper than autozone and anywhere else.

Anyway, it arrived yesterday and I noticed the plastic was broken on it. Is this safe to use or should I return it? Here are some pictures so you can see what I am talking about. You can only really see that it is broken in the first picture. It's just broken underneath that plastic piece that turns. I believe it's called the petcock and allows you to drain the radiator? How can I check to see if it's okay to use? Thank you.

It might be ok...I'd remove the petcock and use a magnifying glass to look around the area where it screws in. If the crack is just on that ring around the petcock, it's probably ok but if the crack extends to where the petcock screws in, then it's going to leak.

Hopefully you have some sort of return available to you; so if you're not sure, send it back.

Is yours a RHD? I would return it as well. If you can, get an all metal one.

Returned it and got an all metal LHD at Advance. Thanks for the embarrassing heads up. Installed it myself and it works great!
