Gas related stalling issues?

We have a 2003 Cav that the wife primarily drives. She says that when shes gets gas the next day the car will lurch and stall at lights. It doesnt appear to have a problem getting started again. She pretty consistently uses Moble gas which ive always heard to be good quality.

It seems a common issue is fuel pumps. But Id imagine fuel pump would be more of a consistent issue and that she would have a hard time getting it started after it stalled.

Im going to replace the sparks tonight just as a formality. Any other ideas on stuff to test or even inexpensive things to replace for shites and gigs?

Re: Gas related stalling issues?

Is the check engine light on?

Does your wife stop filling the tank when the pump shuts off or does she continue pumping unit she gets to a certain dollar amount?

Have you checked the evap lines near the charcoal canister for liquid fuel?
