transmission mount HELP
Hello All, New to forum glad to be here. Lastnight i tried to replace the rear trans mount, took out all the bolts but couldnt wiggel that mount out for anything(LOTS of cusswords)lol . Are there any tricks to this? 1996 Park Avenue 3800 Series II

Rear mount on the left side or the right?
The rear mount on the left (driver) side is sandwiched between the rear of the trans and the cradle crossmember. You may have to raise/roll the engine a bit forward to get it clear. There are three bolts into the rear of the trans and four into the cradle (two on top, two toward the front). The left (passenger) side should not be difficult once all four bolts are removed. It may be rusted a bit or stuck to the cradle with paint, but there are only two bolts into the cradle and two on the differential housing.
