Old Buick Skylark
1970 Buick Skylark built from monogram buick gsx kit. came to me in badly crushed box with broken pillars.but junker was in my plans anyway so i dealt with it. it was not easy as body was warped and i realized it during final assembly - front window didnt fit AT ALL. result is the best possible - one pillar plays as broken. hood is only freely put on to catch overall body shape - its gonna be open. during taking pictures i realised i completely forgot to paint side reflective lights - i will do that but pics are done for now. its not an easy task for me to take pictures of weathered models due to fine shades and subtle effects as my camera is not an dslr, but i`m trying. this time its not so bad, but eyes are eyes..
hope you enjoy, comments (positive :> ) are welcomed

Re: Old Buick Skylark
Despite the problems you mentioned, I think this is amazing. Very convincing weathering.

Re: Old Buick Skylark
Agree, very nicely done. The chassis weathering is especially realistic - it looks like the poor beast has had a hard life..
