92 Cutlass Ciera 3.3 V6 stalling issues

I recently bought the above vehicle after my previous vehicle quit on me. The car runs and is in great shape, but i seem to be having an intermittent stall. The stall only seems to happen when i slow down, or let off the accelerator. I drove it highway on a trip to and from for about 100 or so miles and didn't have a single issue it wasn't till i returned that it stalled while i was coasting down a hill at about 45mph i put it in neutral and it restarted no problem. Then as i approached the light it again stalled, i turned left just in case any issues and noticed that the steering wheel was rather difficult to turn. It started again with no issues and i decided to turn the ac off and the entire trip home it didn't stall again. (don't know if thats important or not but figured more info is better than not enough :s) i talked with a few mechanics and one is set on it being the Torque converter solenoid switch and then Ive also read a few forums that it could also be the crankshaft position sensor. Hopping that i can get some direction with this post :S and also if this has already been discussed i apologize i used the search and didn't find anything.

Many things can cause this, if it were the tcc solenoid it would stall again at low speeds when you put it back in dr, a carboned up throttle body, lazy idle speed control, stuck egr if so equipped, are some common areas.

It does stall at low speeds too, for instance one time i was pulling into a parking spot it stalled i restarted to push it the little bit it had left to go and all was good was able to make it home just fine with no stalling issues, seems to be very sporadic it rarely happens consistently.
