94 Silverado Horn Not Working

I have a 94 Silverado Z71. The horn doesn't work and I cant find a diagram that shows how the wire it is connected to the steering wheel. I tried to put the wire in the center bolt of the steering wheel and I also notice a hole to the left of the bolt for the steering wheel and tried putting the wire in there with no luck. I didn't see a fuse for the horn either. Can anyone help? Thanks

put 12volts directly to the horn[s]..see if they work..
