High Idle - '01 z24 - TPS to blame?
Hey all,
Im idling a bit high at around 1.5k. Removed the throttle cover and found out when I took out what I think was TPS sensor (top right on the throttle) out my idle returned to a more regular idle speed. But when I placed it back in, it jumped high again. Note when I pulled out the TPS my engine light came on and gave me the PO122 code. So if anyone has any input or advice on what to do that would be great. Looks like the next course of action is to buy a TPS sensor unless someone else has some other advice or things to check . THanks |

Re: High Idle - '01 z24 - TPS to blame?
Could be TPS, IAC or bad vaccuum line.
If you have a scanner I believe you should be reading about .45v on the TPS at idle, if not time for a new one. Hope this helps. |
