Ok I have a 99 Camry and I need to replace the engine. What model(s) and year(s) of Toyota engines are the same as mine that will work for a exact exchange? Its a 2.2 Liter 4 Cylinder. Oh and does it matter that it is an American Edition?
Thanks Brandy |

Re: 99 Toyota question
A 4 cylinder 2.2 liter designated the 5SFE engine from any 97 to 2001 Camry (generation 3) should work, but I would check with a salvage yard just to be certain. They will have a book that tells what engines can interchange with what car. You might even be able to use an engine from certain Celica models.
